Thank you to Members Wendy Duke and Shari Linde – WorkSafe BC rate increase

Dear Speech and Hearing BC members,

By now you are all aware that WorkSafe BC has increased their reimbursement rate for speech-language pathology services to $160.00/hour effective July 1, 2019. This came about due to the dedicated work and perseverance of Speech and Hearing BC members Wendy Duke and Shari Linde. Wendy and Shari independently took the reigns, provided undeniable support for the rate increase, and participated in regular communication with WorkSafe BC to support their final decision. Wendy and Shari initiated and completed this successful grassroots effort with support from Speech and Hearing BC.

Kudos and many thanks to Wendy and Shari for their work on behalf of Speech and Hearing BC members and their success in demonstrating the importance, value, and quality of speech-language pathology services provided to WorkSafe BC.
