Bio
A graduate of the University of Alberta, Lucy started her career as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Vancouver before eventually making the move back to her hometown of Victoria. She has experience working with clients across the age continuum in a variety of settings, and has particular interests in language development, phonological awareness, Autism, and communication partner training. She also has specialized training in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). For Lucy, communication is all about connecting with others. Whether it be with friends, family members, or a broader community, Lucy strives to equip her clients with the communication skills they need to build and maintain meaningful relationships. Her approach to therapy is positive and playful, and she loves to celebrate success with her clients and their families. Outside of the therapy setting, Lucy can be found sipping tea with friends, playing guitar, trail running, or elbow deep in her vegetable garden.
