Bio
My name is Charlotte and I am a Speech-Language Pathologist certified by SAC. I am bilingual and I’m fluent in both English and Cantonese. I graduated with a Masters of Speech Language Pathology from Sydney, Australia in 2013. I have worked in private practice and in Early Intervention at a non profit organization (the Centre for Child Development). I am a member of the College of Speech and Hearing Heath Professionals of BC (CSHBC), Speech and Hearing BC and Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC). I am also on the Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP) and have worked extensively with individuals diagnosed with Autism. I have a passion for working with clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, those with language delays/disorders, AAC users, and those with social language difficulties. I have been trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches such as: Hanen- It Takes Two to Talk, Hanen- More Than Words, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT), Early Start Denver Model, SOS Approach to Feeding, Parent Coaching. I enjoy learning and ensuring that I am up to date in evidence-based practices.
