Bio
Amanda graduated with a M.Sc. in Speech-Language Pathology in 2002, and has practiced as a Speech-language Pathologist since then. She has worked with children and adults in a variety of settings, including a children's treatment centre, a hospital setting and the private sector. Some of her additional training includes: Social Thinking Approach, Reference & Regulate Approach and PROMPT. Amanda enjoys working with clients with different communication challenges, including language delays, speech-sound production errors, pragmatics/social communication difficulties, and frequently work with children with Autism and Apraxia of Speech. Amanda is a co-owner of Beehive Therapy: Speech-Language Pathology Services, where therapists strive to meet the individual needs of their clients in a caring client-focused environment. Amanda also provides accent-modification services to adults.
