Maximum Hourly Billing Rate Increase for School Aged Extended Therapies

The Government of British Columbia has announced a change in billing rate for Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech-Language Pathology. Effective April 1st, the maximum hourly billing rate for SLPs have increased from $80 to $160 per hour to a maximum of $5760 per 12-month period. The indirect service limit is remaining at $480 per 12-month period.

Families and service providers will receive a letter in the mail from the provincial government outlining the changes for each authorization once an update is complete.
