We are currently looking for Speech & Language Pathologists with a focus on paediatrics. 

About the Position:

As a Speech & Language Pathologist you are a vital part of the Tall Tree team. You are responsible for providing assessment and treatment services to clients with a variety of presenting concerns, including physical health conditions, persistent pain, and chronic medical conditions. Clinical services will be available by telehealth, in-person from the clinic, and in the community. While the caseload is primarily paediatrics, we are looking for a clinician who is confident treating clients of all ages. Workload can be part- or full-time.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Evaluating and assessing patients’ communication skills and developing individualized treatment plans that support a wide variety of patients and conditions including phonological disorders, aphasia, fluency disorders, apraxia of speech, articulation disorders, language facilitation, cognitive-communication, voice disorders, acquired dyslexia, and more.
  • Providing education to individuals and their families about supportive communication strategies and acquired communication disorders.
  • Providing exceptional care that is evidence-based, psychologically informed, and patient-centred.
  • Maintaining related reports, records, and statistical data in accordance with established standards and procedures.
  • Collaborating interdisciplinary with Occupational Therapists, Kinesiologists, Massage
  • Therapists, Psychologists, Clinical Counsellors, and more when indicated.
  • Staying current with the latest evidence, findings, trends, and developments to ensure clients receive the best possible care.

Qualifications:

Current registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of British Columbia. Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology, or equivalent from a recognized University.
