Speech-Language Pathologist for 31 years! Extensive experience with neurodiverse populations. Branching out into neuro-educational consulting, especially with ADHD. Founder of 3 practices: Vancouver Language Therapy 4 Kids Therapy 4 Kids Okanagan ADHD Understood (Instagram @adhd_understood) Co-Founder (with Sam Jaffe, SLP): Fraser Language Therapy 4 Kids ✨My practices are all Social Purpose Businesses, which in part means that we are committed to providing services to children & their families that fits their financial situation (we have sliding scale, pro-bono, trained volunteers, SLP assistants…). We prioritize accessibility to our services by providing home visit therapy, virtual therapy, preschool/school based therapy or in-office therapy (whichever works best for the family) & we have an active Community Give-Back Program, that supports a wide variety of local and global charities. More specifics: ~ Absolutely love working with children ages birth to 12 years (that’s my particular area of focus) AND have amazing clinicians on our team who specialize in supporting teens aged 13-19 years. ~ We support a wide variety of needs (AAC, ultrasound speech, brain injury, ADHD, ASD, speech sound production, language delays, executive functioning, social-pragmatic skills) ~ 100% Strengths-Based therapy approach, as it’s my firm belief that all children have strengths and if we use those strengths to help manage the challenges, all kids will have a more positive experience in therapy ~ Love working in remote communities and have been providing SLP services in Bella Coola BC for 7 years
