Specialties / Services Provided

I am a certified and registered Speech Language Pathologist with over 25 years experience. I operate a small private practice in addition to working in a local school district. I am currently accepting new clients onto my caseload. My speciality is oral myology. If your child or yourself are seeing an orthodontist and have been told that your child has an open bite, it is most likely because of a poor oral rest tongue position. Braces will correct the teeth but if you do not correct the tongue's resting position the teeth will move out of alignment and back into an open bite. If this sounds like your child then I can help. Poor tongue rest position contributes to articulation disorders such as lisping, and tongue thrust swallow. The populations that I serve are: pre-school through school-aged and adults. The areas that I provided service in are: oral myology, expressive and receptive language disorders, executive function disorders, articulation, phonological disorders, apraxia, reading, written output, voice, and fluency. Assessments only are also provided. I can travel to your home and provide therapy where it is convenient for you and your family. The travel areas that I serve are: Richmond, (Langley if I have enough clients in that area), Vancouver, Surrey, Ladner, and Delta. Please inquire into how I can help your child today.
