Bio
I am a Speech-Language Pathologist practicing in the Penticton, BC area. I was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB and received my masters degree at The University of Western Ontario. I always dreamed about working in a helping profession with children and families and am thrilled to be able to do so every day. I have experience in many practice settings and am currently working in a pediatric multidisciplinary clinic with many children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I consider myself a developmental and play-based therapist and love parent coaching models. I consistently seek out professional development opportunities, with my most recent endeavor being PLAY Project full certification and the SOS Approach to Feeding.

I offer assessment, treatment and education for pediatric areas of speech sound disorders, fluency disorders, language disorders, literacy, and feeding / swallowing. The clinic I work at functions under a multi-disciplinary, parent coaching model and includes Occupational Therapists and Family Counselors. We value in-house collaboration and joint programming as much as possible and integrate play-based and sensory-motor activities in therapy. As a team, we are currently obtaining our PLAY Project consultant certification to be able to offer more in depth, evidence-based and supportive coaching to families with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I will also be offering pediatric feeding assessments and programming following the SOS Approach to Feeding model.
