Katie’s background is in Elementary Education and English Language Learning in the lower mainland and abroad. Since graduating from the University of British Columbia with a Masters of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Katie has provided therapy to clients and families of all ages from diverse backgrounds and varying abilities. Katie’s speech therapy is client-centred and focused on the needs and goals of individuals and their families. Katie has experience working with clients with a wide range of language disorders including aphasia, apraxia, phonological and language delay as well developmental delays including Autism Spectrum Disorder. Katie is a certified member of Speech and Audiology Canada and registered with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia.
