Camille Traverse is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist by the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of B.C. (CSHHHPBC) and a certified member of the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA). Camille has worked in early intervention, public schools, hospitals and private practice in Canada and Chile. She has experience treating adults and children in English, French and Spanish and has volunteered as a speech pathologist in India and Nepal. She is passionate about supporting people of all ages to achieve their communication potential and improve their social quality of life. Highlights of past accomplishments include the successful running of a pilot voice treatment protocol for adults with Parkinson's disease in Santiago, Chile; participating in the development of an intensive outpatient rehab program at a major regional hospital; and publication of an article on group therapy in Parkinson's in the Canadian Journal Of Speech Pathology and Audiology. Camille currently works for S.D. 61 on Vancouver Island as well as operating a part-time private practice. She is the Treasurer for BCASLPA.
