Evelyn is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist whose clinical background includes over 20 years working in a variety of settings: early intervention, public schools (K to 12) and private practice in Ontario, Alberta and BC. She holds a Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from McGill University and is certified with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC; with Professional Interest in Speech, Language and Literacy Development, Augmentative and/or Alternative Communication, and Education and Research). Evelyn has many advanced trainings including (but not limited to): LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading & Spelling), DTTC (Dynamic Temporal & Tactile Cuing), ReST (Rapid Syllable Transition Training), PROMPT (Prompt for Restructuring Oral Musculature Phonetic Targets), Hanen (More than Words, It Takes Two to Talk, Learning Language & Loving It), Auditory Verbal Therapy (Ontario MOH Professional Training), Reference & Regulate, Meaningful Speech Echolalia Education, and Sarah Ward Executive Functioning. Evelyn is also an International and Canadian RADLD (Raising Awareness of Developmental Language Disorder) Ambassador.
