I have worked in many different practice environments, including a child development centre, public health, and public schools. All of the work that I do is grounded in the desire to support kids as they learn to communicate effectively with the people around them. I am trained to administer a variety of formal early language programmes (including It Takes Two to Talk and Target Word). I also have additional training in the area of social communication. I am comfortable working with kids of all ages and I take pride in choosing materials and resources that are appropriate for an individual's developmental age. I believe that family members play an important role in supporting therapeutic change; I try to involve family members whenever possible during my therapy sessions.
