Bio
Rachel is a Speech-Language Pathologist who gained her masters in Ireland, in 2013, and has now been practicing for four years. She has worked in Ireland, England and Canada to date and is enthusiastic about continuing to develop both her own skills and the scope of SLP practice at large all around the world. She is based with Providence Health Care in Vancouver at present and is passionate about SLP engagement and work in adult mental health, respiratory health and intensive care - amongst many others! Rachel came to SLP work after a stint in the arts, working as a journalist and researcher in the tattoo and body modification world, and in teaching English as a second language. In her spare time she’s a yoga fanatic, a cat enthusiast and an illustrator / amateur artist.
