Alicia Walker-Dighton received her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Minot State University in North Dakota in 2003. She worked for Vancouver Coastal Health for 12 years and is now currently serving clients through her own home-based business. She is a certified member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC), British Columbia Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (BCASLPA), the American Speech-language and Hearing Association (ASHA), and is a registered member of the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC. She is Hanen trained and educated and has provided these courses for parents and educators/teachers on a number of occasions. She also has a particular passion for working with preschool children with delays in talking due to language and/or motor speech delays.
